About Us

The Shire Bakery was created in 2014 out of a passion for baking but a disappointment in Supermarket baking supplies. We are an online retailer, selling giftable baking supplies, and also run a sprinkle subscription, sending sprinkles out to subscribers 6 times a year.

It was created by one-woman super force, Carly Morgan, after baking cakes for local bars and restaurants was no longer satisfying. Creating sprinkle mixes spawned a creative beast inside of her, and The Shire Bakery quickly developed into what it is today. In 2019 we were crowned runner up for the Food and Drink Business of the year at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.
